Rolex and Aucoin Hart were both founded in the early twentieth century. While Hans Wilsdorf, Rolex’s visionary founder, was establishing his legendary Genevan manufacture in the 1920s, Hart Jewelers opened for business in New Orleans. During the 1950s, as Rolex was developing professional watches that served as tools and whose functions went far beyond simply telling the time, Aucoin Hart was evolving as a whole. New opportunities arose for Hart Jewelers when the company was purchased by watchmaker Bert Aucoin, moving to its current location on Metairie Road.
In 1992, Aucoin Hart joined the exclusive network of Official Rolex Jewelers committed to excellence and trained in the necessary skills and technical know-how to provide you with the ultimate luxury experience. Only Official Rolex Jewelers are allowed to sell and maintain a Rolex watch. In 2013, Aucoin Hart introduced a new & expanded showroom including an enhanced Rolex presentation. The new Rolex Corner features specially designed Rolex showcases and a dedicated staff to guide you through the range of available models and advise you on all the technical aspects of Rolex. In 2019, Aucoin Hart Jewelers joined an extensive network of authorized Rolex Service Centers. Only authorized Rolex Service Centers can provide the care, skill, and equipment needed to service your Rolex, guaranteeing the highest standard of quality, as well as a lifetime of satisfaction.
